PMI has launched the course: Project Management for Beginners. It is the introductory course which provides useful information for people aspiring to develop career in Project Management. It is comprised of a selection of modules from PMI best-selling course Project Management Basics.
This course provides an overview of project management terminology, role of the Project Manager, and an introduction to the 10 Knowledge Areas found in the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition.
As of now, it is for free and anyone can access it. There is no need to take the membership. One needs to create the account on the PMI website and then can go to the marketplace and enroll for the “Project Management for Beginners” for free. Below is the procedure how to access it. It also helps in gaining 4.5 PDUs for PMP.
Step 1 : Create an account on the PMI website.
Step 2 : After creation of the account, login on the PMI website
Step 3 : Go to the Marketplace.
Step 4 : Add the “Project Management for Beginners” course to your cart, checkout and then place the order.
Step 5 : Check your mailbox, in which link to the “Project Management for Beginners” course will be given.
