Scrum team is facing critical issue which needs to be addressed immediately. Sara, team member, has suggested a great idea in the Daily Scrum to address the issue. How it should be handled next?
a. Explain the idea in the daily scrum meeting
b. Development team can meet after the daily scrum meeting and discuss it in detail
c. Share with Product Owner and take his inputs
d. Sara should prepare detailed presentation about the solutionCorrect answer is B.
It is always better to involve the team for the discussion as it taps wider knowledge base and helps in enhancing the idea and removing any bottlenecks. Solutions to the problems should not be discussed in the Daily scrum meeting. Once the team comes up with the viable solution then may be it can be discussed with Product Owner and prioritized in the backlog.
