    Daniel is working as the Scrum Master of the Project ABC. Sameera is senior member working on the project. Daniel found that Sameera’s manager asks her to support previous project occasionally. However, this is not deeply effecting the current project as Sameera is able to manage the workload. As a Scrum Master, what would Daniel should do in such situation?

    a. Since the Project ABC is not being effected, let Sameera work on the previous project too
    b. Discuss the situation with Sameera’s manager and let Sameera work on Project ABC only
    c. Move Sameera to the previous project and request for the replacement

    Correct answer is B.

    Scrum Team should be fully dedicated to the project on which they are working upon. Since Project switching is kind of waste and if Sameera is getting work for previous project too so chances are there that the current project may suffer, if not now then may be in the future. Daniel, being the scrum master, should protect his team from the distractions and discuss the situation with Sameera’s manager that let her fully dedicated to the Project ABC only.
