One member of the agile team, Vicky was not able to concentrate on his work in the team area. He approached scrum master and requested separate area where he can concentrate and work. Rosy (Scrum master) said since whole agile team sits at the same location so Vicky has to work there itself. Being an Agile Coach, what would you do in such a situation?
a. Agree with Rosy and ask Vicky to work at the same location
b. Ask Rosy to give separate cubicle to Vicky
c. Ask whole team not to make noise as it is disturbing others
d. Coach Rosy that Agile supports Caves and Common and ask her to allow Vicky to work in cave for brief period of timeCorrect answer is D.
In Caves and Common, agile team members are allowed to work in quiet area for a while, if they are not able to concentrate in the team area. Once done, team member should return to the common area.
