A project has had some problems, but now seems under control. In the last few months almost all the reserves have been used up and most of the negative impacts of the events that have been predicted have occurred. There are only four activities that are left and two are on the critical path. Manager now informs the project manager that it would be in the performing organization’s best interest to finish the projects two weeks earlier than scheduled in order to receive an additional profit.
