You have been working as technical manager with great success. The management is impressed by your talent and you are promoted you as project manager. You are new to stakeholder management. What is the key point that you would focus on?

    C. Identify stakeholders, understand their relative degree of influence on a project, and balance their demands, needs, and expectations.

    Correct answer is C.

Choice A provides wrong approach. Whenever a change is requested, you should analyze its impact, and recommend it for review and approval. Only approved changes are
implemented. Choice B is also wrong. If you avoid negative stakeholders, they will oppose the project and create problems for your project. Overlooking negative stakeholder interests can result in an increased likelihood of failure, delays, or other negative consequences to the project. Choice D also gives wrong approach. You need to focus on the needs and expectations of all stakeholders.
